MilkSafe ™ is a series of tests designed to check milk for the residues of groups of antibiotics that are commonly used in veterinary medicine. All test kits were independently evaluated by ILVO - Expert Organization of the European Union (Belgian Research Institute for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food). Firstly, for the testing process you have to hold the milk sample in the thermostat. Secondly, you may evaluate the results visually or with a reader. MilkSafe™ equipment and digital services make it possible to conduct testing at any stage of delivery and at any place: on the farm, during transportation in a milk truck, in the laboratory, etc.

Chr. Hansen offers rapid tests that can be used to monitor milk for the different groups of antibiotics to make the informed decision at the moment of milk recieving. You can check the milk for the presence of up to four different groups of antibiotics with a quick test (from five to ten minutes). It is a great solution for most dairies, which seek to prevent products from the contamination with the residual antibiotics.
